STEPS TO TAKE WHEN STRUGGLING

IN A CLASS

  1. Email your teacher to discuss specific concerns or struggles you are experiencing in the class and ask for help. Your teacher is the best resource.

  2. Request and attend a Tutorial Period with your teacher to get extra help. This can be done on a regular basis or as needed. The Tutorial Period is attached to your 4th period on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

  3. Login to Tutor.com to get help.

  4. Schedule a Student/Teacher/Parent Zoom Conference to discuss strategies that will help you improve your grade.

  5. If the above steps have NOT been successful, contact your School Counselor to discuss other options and possibly initiate an IST Meeting with the Coordinator and teachers.

    • Missed or incomplete assignments

    • Low test scores
