WHAT IS SVCTE?

"SVCTE--Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (formerly known as CCOC) educates eligible high school students for success in careers and college in a professional, hands-on environment. Courses are offered within 11 industry sectors where Junior and Senior high school students can explore and develop technical skills that will lead them to higher education or into the workplace."

  • Contact your School Counselor to check if you are eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY TO SVCTE

  1. Students MUST be on track for graduation. Contact your School Counselor to check if you are eligible to apply.

  2. Select the SVCTE-PM course in your Naviance 4-year plan for Juniors and Seniors ONLY.

  3. If you are would like to preview a class, register for an SVCTE Shadow Day Tour.

  4. Fill out this SVCTE Google Interest Form to be considered for Admission at SVCTE. First choice selections are not guaranteed.

  5. School Counselors will review the google interest form and approve applications based on students graduation status.

6. All approved applications will receive a final approval at the East Side Union High School District Draft Day. Students will be placed in courses based on a Lottery System.

7. Accepted students MUST attend a Mandatory Registration Meeting and register in the SVCTE’s Infinite Campus Portal.

8. Complete your SVCTE Registration:

  • Contact your counselor for your Registration Course Code.

  • Review the Flyer to access the Registration Link.

9. Monitor your school email as you will be contacted by SVCTE in the Spring to attend an SVCTE Signing Night based on your program!
