Ask Mrs. Choy in the counseling office to learn about Scholarships that are unique to Santa Teresa or East Side Union High School District. You can also contact her at choya@esuhsd.org.

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)
The first step is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application or the Dream Act Application for Undocumented Students.
The FAFSA window opens October 1st and you must apply before March 2nd.
Attend the FAFSA Financial Aid Presentation with your Parents.
The FAFSA will determine what kind of financial aid you qualify for: Grants, Scholarships, Work Study, Loans, etc.
Attend a Cash4College Workshop.
Ask about the Community College Promise Grants and the EOP(S) opportunities.
Each college/university has scholarship opportunities to help you pay for college so be sure to communicate with the institutions.
Check with Community-Based Organizations if they provide scholarships for students such as Bank Institutions, Family Owned Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Misc Businesses, etc...
