Who are the School Counselors?

School Counselors are certified/licensed educators who help improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive academic counseling student support program focused on Personal, Social and Educational Development.

  • Build personal connections with students and learn their strengths and challenges to provide an effective educational plan

  • Individual student academic planning and college and career goal setting

  • Provide School counseling Grade Level Presentations/Workshops based on student success standards Multi-Tiered System of Supports

  • Advocacy for all students at individual educational plan meetings and other student-focused meetings for student success

  • Support for short-term and/or referral for long-term counseling student support

  • Data analysis to identify student needs and challenges
