Being named class officer last year has sharpened my ability to communicate and advocate for my classmates effectively. An important characteristic that a class officer should have is the ability to bring energy and spirit to the school. I will never miss an opportunity to participate in spirit weeks, yell in football games, and cheer during rallies. Past opportunities have taught me the value of dedication, teamwork, and leadership. Even with my other commitments, I know how to manage my time effectively and get the job done. I have big ideas to make ST a more united school, from exciting spirit weeks to unforgettable rallies. However, these ideas can't just be mine; I want your input and creativity to bring all these events to life. I believe every student deserves to be heard no matter who they are, and I am committed to making sure this happens.

People should vote for me for class office because I strive to go beyond the roles of an average student, I see myself and embody the values of someone who wants to make a meaningful impact. My goal isn’t just to represent the future sophomore class, but to truly advocate for each and every student in any way I can. What sets me apart from other candidates is my view of leadership: to me being a leader means being hands on and actively involved, not just delegating tasks. Its about being a pillar that brings people together. While my experience as ASB president in junior high shows i'm capable; its my mindset and dedication that make me worthy of peoples vote.

People should vote for me because of my dedication to finding new purposes to join school activities. I often use my personal relationships and experiences to connect to how to make events more appealing. For example, my first year as an ASB officer was a way for me to experiment with how to operate important experiences for the student body, like HomeComing and Fantastiks. For Fantastiks, an event with less publicity, I created a unique intiative: free Wingstop for participation! As silly as it sounds, this was very useful in times of desperation; when we needed last minute pyramid & game participants, we used this initiative to attract freshmen. While it isn't certain that the free Wingstop will continue as a tradition, but it definitely gave a lot of insight on what our class looks out for, especially as one of the underclassmen. Another huge factor in why I should receive people's vote is because I am flexible and open to criticism. One of the main reasons for complication was lots of disagreement between the participants and the officers. I took this into account during FTX; at the start, I asked our previous participants how we can improve and their inputs for our theme, and after Fantastiks season, sent out a feedback form to see people's feelings toward it. The CO28 student body consists of lots of diversity, thus I push to be open to accommodate people of all demographics.

People should vote for me because I have the ability to leave a positive impact in any community I am a part of.  Not only that, I also aim to improve the morale of the school as well as leave a lasting impression on the people that I meet. Connections and sociability are two of my strong suites.  But I believe the most prominent trait I have is the ability to change and adapt to my environments.  I've demonstrated this through various club positions, such as Color guard; where I've been tasked with learning various new skills.  Each and every one that I have gained throughout my experience has pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowing me the space to grow and improve my overall pool of capability. With that being said, I would make a good candidate for the class office and also a significant member of the Santa Teresa community.

While finding the perfect candidate isn't an easy task, I'm here to make the process just a little bit easier! I've always considered myself to be an organized person with a strong work ethic, and many others would agree. Academically, I take my studies very seriously, but I also value and make time for my friends, peers, and family. I believe it's important to connect with others in our ST community, including teachers, staff, and fellow students. I'm able to excel in fostering strong relationships by participating in extracurricular activities, working hard, and treating everyone with the respect they deserve. Overall, I'm running for class officer to help make Santa Teresa an even safer and more welcoming place for all students!

Throughout my freshman year, I have been able to meet a lot of new and amazing people. This made me realize that even though we all come from different middle schools, we’re starting to become one big community here in high school. My goal is to help strengthen and deepen that bond, while also making our upcoming year unforgettable. I will do my absolute best to raise our school spirit, ensure that your voices are heard, and create exciting events that we can all enjoy. Together, we can create a year full of growth, fun, and friendship. Vote for Lenny, the choice that’s ready, and let's make our approaching sophomore year one to remember, united as a grade!
