AP Physics 1

In this course, you will explore the basis of all other science courses, as physics explains how the world works. You will apply math to the real world through hands-on labs and projects with physics "toys" and equipment, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts covered in class.
As a college-level course, AP Physics 1 requires maturity to learn at a high level on your own or with other students. AP Physics 2
Santa Teresa High School's AP Physics 2 class is designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of physics. This course will cover a wide range of topics, including fluids, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, atomic, and nuclear physics.
To enroll in this course, students must have earned an A in regular physics or a C in AP Physics 1. The course requires students to apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems and situations.
AP Physics 2 is a college-level course and requires a high level of maturity and self-discipline. Students will engage in hands-on and minds-on activities, completing labs and projects designed to develop their analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
