The Social Science Department helps students build a strong foundation in history, geography, government, and economics, empowering them to understand the world and become engaged citizens. 

Courses examine key moments in global and U.S. history, foundational democratic principles, and the economic systems shaping modern society. 

What You’ll Learn:

• Grade 9/10: Study major historical events from the late 18th century to today, exploring how global cultures, conflicts, and advancements shaped the modern world.

• Grade 11: Dive into U.S. History, focusing on the evolution of democracy and key moments in 20th-century American history.

• Grade 12: Take semester-long courses each in Government and Economics:

  • In Government, examine national, state, and local systems to understand how decisions shape communities.

  • In Economics, master financial principles and practical skills that apply to everyday life.

  • The order of these courses may vary.
