FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)

The first step is to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application or the Dream Act Application for Undocumented Students.   

• The FAFSA window opens in December. More Information coming soon. 

• Attend the FAFSA Financial Aid Presentation with your Parents.

• The FAFSA will determine what kind of financial aid you qualify for: Grants, Scholarships, Work Study, Loans, etc.

• Attend a Cash4College Workshop for one-to-one support.

• Review the Community College Promise Grants and the EOP(S) opportunities.

• Each college/university offer scholarship opportunities to help you pay for college so be sure to communicate with the institutions.

• Check with Community-Based Organizations if they provide scholarships for students such as Bank Institutions, Family Owned Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Misc Businesses, etc...
