Track & Field (Co-Ed)

FIRST ROUND ROSTER : check both boys and girls locker rooms (posted 2/5/24)


Optional Conditioning in January @ 4:15pm (Mondays: 8th, 15th*, 22nd, Thursdays: 11th, 18th, 25th)  

(must be cleared through Athletic Clearance, newcomers welcome) *9:00am

Tryout Week: Monday, Jan 29th through Friday, Feb. 3rd- 4:15pm on the track sharp

1. MUST BE CLEARED THROUGH WWW.ATHLETICCLEARANCE.COM by Friday, January 26th, NO EXCEPTIONS (see an AD before this date, will not be checked after this date) 

2. Didn’t make grades? (2.0 GPA with no more than 1 F): you may make the team, but if you do not make grades after that, you will be removed from the roster, returners included. 

3. Attendance/promptness (missing tryout days will put you to the bottom of the depth chart.)

4. Positive attitude and body language (no one is bigger than the team, workouts) 

5. Athletic performance in drills, stretching, & time/event trials

6. Must be able to get your own ride to meets, no one can drive others unless related to them. 

7. Signed commitment contract due near the parent meeting (TBA) for all who make the team.

If you only play football? You should do Track & Field. If you only wrestle, you should do Track & Field. If you are a Cross Country runner and do not do another sport, you know what the answer is. Help us continue our dominant Mt. Hamilton Division program.
