In this program, students have the opportunity to earn high school credits by working outside of school. To receive full credit, students are required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. They must sign in every Monday with their designated work experience teacher to report their hours and progress.
In order to validate their work hours, students are expected to provide their teacher with pay stubs or other evidence that they have been actively employed. This documentation serves as proof of their commitment and allows the school to track their progress in the program.
For students who work 20 or more hours per week, they have the option to allocate two periods of their school schedule to this class. This flexibility accommodates their higher work hours while still allowing them to earn credits towards their high school graduation.
