WHAT IS SVCTE?
Silicon Valley Career Technical Education
formerly known as CCOC offers:
Success in college and careers in a professional, hands-on environment.
Opportunities to explore and develop
technical skills and may earn a certificate that will lead them to higher education or into the workforce.After-school and summer opportunities for all grade levels: 9-12th.
25 courses (21 of which are UC “a-g” approved), preparing students for future careers, free of charge during their junior and senior years.

Parents/guardians are not allowed to participate in shadow days; shadow days are exclusively dedicated to prospective students.
The open tour is an opportunity for parents and guardians to visit SVCTE and pick from different Dates available on their website.

Eligibility, Steps, and Key Dates
Eligibility, Steps, and Key Dates
Students MUST be on track for graduation.
Students MUST be in the 11th or 12th grades.
See your School Counselor to check if you are eligible to apply.
All students have their 1-on-1 scheduling meeting with their assigned counselor in the Spring semester.
Eligibility may be determined at that meeting.
A link will then be provided to interested students to select their SVCTE Courses.
Attend the SVCTE Info Night Presentation
January 9, 2025 at 6-8 PM in STHS Library
Follow specific steps to enroll
Select your pathway of choice.
Selected students must:
Attend a Mandatory Registration Meeting during tutorial.
