Orientation is approaching! It will be on Tuesday, August 4th and will take approximately 1 1/2 hours for your student. Remember, this is only for incoming freshmen and new students to Santa Teresa! This event is for students only. Parents should only accompany students if student has a handicap or special need where additional assistance is required.
Please look at the scheduling breakdown below to know when to drop off your student for Orientation:
Orientation Schedule
Arrival times by Last names:
A-C: 8:30 AM
D-H: 10:00 AM
I-M: 11:30 AM
N-R: 1:00 PM
S-Z: 2:30 PM
Estimated End: 4:00 PM
Orientation will include:
Students will enter through School gym from parking lot side to begin Orientation.
Taking student Photo IDs and receiving a physical ID card
Getting student class schedules (note: corrections will only be made for errors on schedules such as wrong-level placement, not to change teachers or to change start times)
Receiving student-issued chromebook
Learning how to log in to student account and to access the learning platform Canvas to view grades and to submit online assignments
Please bring a bag to carry your items that you will receive, good walking shoes, and water/snack. Students should leave campus after learning how to log into their Chromebook and Canvas.
