WHAT WE DO TO SUPPORT YOU!
School Counselors are certified educators who provide a comprehensive counseling program for high school students. Counselors serve as advocates to guide students through a multi-tiered support system in the three developmental domains:
ACADEMIC, COLLEGE / CAREER and PERSONAL / SOCIAL
Counselors build positive relationships with students and learn about their strengths and areas of growth to support their development. Counselors provide student support at individualized educational plan meetings and other student-focused meetings to promote student success. Student support services include 4-year educational plans, college and career planning, grade level presentations and workshops, understanding graduation and A-G requirements, and credit recovery opportunities to ensure equitable practices.
